   @RL_Dane @fu Not sure, to be honest. But my desktop Linux rig has 32GB of RAM and works fine with Slackware, LILO, etc.

     WHOA. Does LILO still have the same memory limitations as in the olden days? vmlinuz and all that ? ?

     Have you seen Slackware's installer? Still 100% text mode. Hell, this bistro still uses LILO as its boot loader.

     Just curious, why does #OpenBSD still use CVS in 2022?

     I'd think at least SVN would have a lot of advantages, even if git wasn't preferred for some reason.
