Maybe the Dem "voter outreach" led them to stay home and not vote for fear of being accused of voting for a Russian plant... Even though everything on Greens 2024 platform was basically Dems 2020 platform which in turn was a rehash of Greens 2016 platform (which itself was similar to Bernie's, before the DNC squashed him).

@arrrg @AnarchoNinaWrites and none of the 2016 math accounts for the Gary Johnson (L) who earned 2-3x as many votes as Stein in key swing states-- votes which (by shitlib logic) were "owed" to Trump instead, meaning HRC would have lost by an even larger margin than purported.

@LeftistLawyer @bignose I wonder how much we could rely on reporting from India, especially the rural parts where people may be born and die without much of a paper trail. In the US, the CDC changed the threshold for what would be attributed to a COVID death from 90 days to just 30 days back in 2022, when the metric of interest was also redefined as "community levels" vs "transmission levels". A similar sleight of hand could be applied to say heat stroke fallout, but maybe not drowning.

Just thinking about all the smarmy shitlibs and centrists cheering on more #fracking as part of their #campaignofjoy, lashing out at Greens and Progressives for insisting our elected leadership can do better. Methane has about 28x as much warming potential as CO2, for those who #followthescience.

Holy shit. Xitter has become an absolutely toxic hellhole. I snuffed my old account in early 2023, still occasionally peek at "breaking news" and viral memes, but it's so disgusting now it's not worth it.

It's flooded with bots, misinformation, and some really sick shit (no holds barred racism, antisemitism, and misogyny) cheered on by shit-for-brains right wing chuds. There are still a few good scientists and artists left on there but the quality of engagement they get is very low.
