It should give a lot more people pause and lower their confidence in a free/fair market, to see the latest apparent propping-up. After all the volatility why is the value holding so ridiculously steady at the inflated $249 price today? It couldn't have anything to do with Musk's powerful new possession of every citizen's private financial records. Good thing conspiracy nuts are rare.

As it turns out Ally Invest may not be reasonable. They pulled $400 from my checking account and then immediately froze the new account and denied my access to it. They sent me a cryptic email which states "We need you to contact Ally Invest Client Services. Your Ally online access is currently disabled, and you may not be able to log in or transact in your new Invest account(s) ending in xxx." When I called, the person who responded to the Interactive Voice Response bot for new account assistance had me verify my DOB and phone, then quizzed me on items from my resume, prior addresses, and locations of people I do not know. Then he told me I am under Maintenance Review, and they'll hold on to my cash for as long as they like while conducting it. So now I too am in the 'Annoyed' camp, am likely to demand my funding back, and to look elsewhere for investment services. I already tried Robinhood and Betterment and they had some hoops I found almost as annoying to jump through, which is how I ended up with Ally.

The #USTREAS payments processing codebase was altered. The data removed, the destruction of Musk's copy not a part of the court order temporarily halting #DOGE access, nor does the order require restoration of the pre-hijack code, afaik. #Musk illegally inserted a private server into the Office of Personnel Management system and there've been no consequences nor mitigation for that yet, either.

Couldn't begin to tell how many times it's happened to me. It might not be worth anything but my recent experience is that Fedilab is a more stable/reliable android client and does realtime caching to a drafts folder until I finally hit 'send'. I've had up to three different clients installed at one time so I could effectively compare them.

I like to use @resistbotatwork to verify registration status periodically (and also to distribute petitions to elected officials, and amplify them among friends). Text to 50409, or DM by one of Messenger/Telegram/Instagram to 'resistbot'. I just send the keyword 'check' and it finds my registrar & displays my status. Nagless donationware.
