@CityHoosier it's going that well for him in Columbus? Honestly this probably would have me in previous years. Last year broke me however. I can see a world where he recovers but I'm sure not betting on it....

@stumblewyk completely agree. Better to be heartbroken even to your sworn rival than totally forget to show up.

To recap the last month of so of my life:

- my dad is being treated for lymphoma and is about to have a biopsy for what could be lung cancer

- my son's epilepsy disorder seems to be getting worse, the time between them growing shorter and the recovery time after them growing longer

- my son's been diagnosed with allergy-induced asthma

- my son is physically attacking my wife

- I'm pretty sure I'm spiraling into a depressive episode because...well, see above
