Cork’s newest bridge is a new pedestrian or cycle bridge that spans the River Lee from Wandesford Quay to Lambley’s Lane. You’d be forgiven if you’re not familiar with either area, as they aren’t exactly the most trafficked areas in the city.

If you’re curious, Lambley’s Lane is off to the side of the old Beamish & Crawford brewery, and the bridge is worth a look at night.

The Eiffel at Dusk

@chris OMG, go automatic. It is so much easier to drive than a manual. I'm on my first manual car and love it.

You still have all the control over your car. Maybe not with accelerating, but you'll probably be able to put the car into "sports mode" or flip the gearstick to manual mode when you're taking off at a junction. Then it's a tap up on the stick to go up the gears.

I just want to get where I want to go with the minimum of fuss, and an automatic car makes that happen with less stress.

The pro Palestinian rally on Grand Parade today was huge, with a larger than usual turnout from all over Cork. It was energising seeing people from all walks of life, and all ages gather to hear speakers talk about the ongoing genocide in Gaza, and urge the Irish government to pass the occupied territories bill which would ban trade from illegally occupied Palestinian territories.
