I understand that there are people here who hate Google and all that. But really the translation available on Mastodon is a disaster, complete shit. I don't know what platform it uses but if I write carefully so that the meaning of the text is preserved when translating... this crap changes it completely.
I mean, whether you write in Spanish and then translate or you write directly in English, then Mastodon's translation is capable of changing even the semantics making what you are writing incomprehensible.
The solution for now is to use Google Translate on my phone.

Yesterday I decided to take some time off from using X/Twitter because of the stress it causes me. I deleted all my posts, replies and reposts. Apart from being autistic and not being able to fully understand the codes communication and socialization, interactions in X are becoming tiresome. Unnecessary aggression (I've had enough in my life) and changes that make unpaid bills invisible.
What follows is that I'm going to use it in read-only mode mostly because there are still useful and interesting people and topics there.
My health and energy are barely enough to deal with the little work I can do and I prefer to use that time and energy to study and a couple of very interesting projects in which I have gotten into.
As things stand, Mastodon is still the friendliest and most laid-back place, aside from some hacker and programmer forums.
Thank you for this place and if one day I have enough for something more than just eating, buying medicine and paying for internet, I would definitely donate to support this institution that you manage so well @jerry
