I woke up super early this morning, the one one year anniversary of the Cancer surgery that saved my life. Also, apparently, today is #WorldPenguinDay. So, I drew penguins holding up protest signs that read "ffck cancer" and "ffck fascists" for today's #inkyDays drawing.

I really wanted this to be only a celebration of my survival, through medical care, cancer research, and infrastructure.

However, if Musk, RFKjr, and Trump were doing then, what they are doing now? I might not be alive right now.

Yes, I celebrate my remission, and hopeful full recovery!

But how can I not mention those who are at risk now, that are at risk because of those greedy, stupid, destructive despots?

How many children will die at their hands?

Fuck that! Fight back!

Tomorrow is the one year anniversary of the surgery that removed my stage 3 cancer tumor.

Before surgery, I was in constant pain, and was loosing weight every day because I just couldn't eat more than a few bites at a time. I was dying.

But the surgery saved my life!

I lost about a foot of my large intestine.

Recovery was slow. But I was stubborn, and kept working to get stronger every day.

Now? I'm still working to get stronger, and live my life to it's fullest!

Oh my goodness! I had such a lovely time with you both, @skinnylatte and @Jackiemauro! I was so goofy and so chatty, and you both were just so wonderful!

Thank you both for such a lovely dinner and conversation!
