i am pretty sure i am omnisexual, because gender plays a role in the types of attraction i feel towards people; however i really resonate with pansexual culture (phrases like "hearts not parts" especially)...

also: if ur bisexual and you've only ever been with one gender-- you're still bisexual.

blows my mind that some people are not voting this election because "meh"

i mean, people have all sorts of good reasons not to vote and voting is very intentionally made harder for some folks...

but i know for sure there are a bunch of white folks who are just like "meh" and will not vote to stop fascism because they have zero conception or understanding that their country is dancing on the lip of the volcano and it blows my mind

there has been so much to unlearn and relearn... it's so wild... i have some hope that it's better for younger trans women? however it's certainly the norm among millennial trans women, and i think genx / boomer trans women have even more complex layers of self defense and self loathing...

when people argue "she's trans! she shouldn't be in women's sport!"

it's effectively the same tactic as a schoolyard bully saying "does your mom know you're so pathetic" or similar.

it creates a situation where arguing in either a positive or negative direction about whether someone is trans or not legitimizes the premise.

the correct way to resolve this is to say "trans women belong in women's sport"

just as with the bully, the solution is "i am not pathetic, you are"

it's fun hearing people say stuff that i recognize in my own history as evidence of gender dysphoria

"ugh yeah i hate seeing or hearing myself on zoom" orly... interesting... after taking estrogen, i don't mind it at all ;p

also the "cis" people who are like "ugh performing gender is such a drag"
