After a successful blood test, we’re heading home! This is what I saw when we left the hospital. Bawled my eyes out. It’s a whole row, too.

Hello everyone. It’s a new day, had a good night thankfully, and I’m already doing so much better than yesterday.

I can’t even begin to share how many people stood by my bed this morning, from pain specialists to my surgeon/gynaecologist.

Am finally having a moment all for myself and that makes me happy.

Hi this is Sylvia’s husband. Surgery went well. Now back in her room, ready to recover.

Well, today is the day of the surgery.

I’m in bed after the shower, and am feeling a tiny bit scared but mostly excited. After today the visible cancer bits will be out of my body.

After today, I will have a chance.

And if that isn’t something to be grateful for, I don’t know what is!

I don’t know when I’ll be back posting like usual, but knowing me, that may be soon, as by tomorrow I’ll probably be bored out of my skull of lying in hospital 😂

@binarydigit Yeah,same! And the stupid thing is that I’m trying out new browsers but it doesn’t feel exciting anymore like new apps usually do. It feels more like defeat.

@binarydigit I have such bad luck with micro sd cards. The one in my Sansa sport seems to hold up fine, thank goodness but this reminds me it might be good to have backups 😃

They couldn’t see any tumors in the scope surgery!!!

So that means they can schedule the big surgery in four weeks to remove the ovaries and have a good look for tumors that hid away during the scope surgery.

SO BLOODY HAPPY!!!

I do something similar with a tiny Sandisk Sansa sport player and my old iPods 😃

I’ve started a new practice this week that will hopefully help me sleep better.

Just before going to sleep, I grab my notebook and just write down everything that comes up, not stopping until I feel I’m done.

My mind is often going haywire with ideas just before sleeping and/or during the night and I hope that by writing everything that comes up before I curl up with my book, I can just sleep 😃

Will update on this after I’ve experimented with this for a week or two.
