     @binarydigit Lovely! There's something to be said for disconnecting like that. It feels so cozy!

     I'm slowly doing something similar, but by moving more to Plexamp, so not quite to the same level lol. I generally listen all the way through an album and don't use playlists much, so it's great for that. Plus, I realized I can make collections of artists or albums, grouping them similarly to how playlists work with songs?? So cool!

     I do something similar with a tiny Sandisk Sansa sport player and my old iPods 😃

     I refurbished a couple of iPods a year or two ago, it’s so nice having a self-contained little portable music library again 😌

     @lukeharby There's a line out as well as headphone port - so hopefully you can use a good ol' AUX cable through your car?

     @binarydigit Hmm mine is on the way and I am now paranoid I won't be able to play it through the car system. Surely I will, there must be some tech for that? ARGH!
