@dev For me it's kind of a strength that both of those worlds can exist on the same protocol without being forced into a specific category by haling to select the platform you are on. You can just experience the parts you want, similarly to how the old Web 1.0 was where you just used the stuff you wanted and didn't have anything forced down your throat by ads and algorithms.
Of course it gets annoying if people try to tell you how you need to use it -.- Same happened to the web imo.
@dev Yeah, DeepL managed to translate it pretty well (at least as far as I could tell) but if I only relied on LibreTranslate it would've been hard to understand :S
@tony@evan Err, did you create them manually? Because they need a joiner character in between. Emoji picker do that automatically though. (And then it depends on the Unicode standard your font supports)
@freemo I'm sorry, scratch that. Apparently it was an issue in the browser that first occurred on your site. Other newly opened sites didn't work as well but opening ones I regularly visit worked... (I assume some DNS dumbness happened 👀) Force-restarting (or maybe waiting?) solved that.
