The (alleged) registration of Eris to send some milquetoast messages to a few SP.C users is just the latest pretense they'll claim, this time for Moon to cut us out. Previously from P, his meddling and abuse has been supposedly due to my stubbornness regarding the blockbot MRF (but actually it's because I have challenged his ego). From Graf, the reasoning was some of his users clapped back to a pet e-celeb starting shit with googled images of his KIKE WIFE (but ultimately he did it because I then personal hurt Graf's feelings in the fallout).
Hard to ignore all these admins are apparently in the same circle. I think the latest situation may in part be caused by the prior two being in Moon's ear about us.
Please show me the alleged death threats from an account registered here, and then if so (doubt it), labor to demonstrate how they're credible and not to be assumed satirical per established instance rules.
The most "serious" post reported was just the guy posting a clip from popular television show Breaking Bad.
Nobody has provided me evidence of a threat in DMs coming from here. To my knowledge if that happened, it occured on another instance, per other accounts of the situation.
Ok I think you might be shit stirring now. I literally screenshotted and commented on the only reports I received, and neither of them contained a death threat. Anyone can see this by scrolling down my profile.
Possibly it's a stopgap while he's on vacation and has time to sort through stuff, but I was given no indication of that and of course I'm the last person to accept it quietly. If it stands, it's ever-so-convenient how it again affirms my point about large instance admins.
There's a lot of layers to it. Yes, there's the power corrupts/only the deranged wish to control tons of people consideration. But even if they're normal, by being the final say over the experiences of tons of people, any minor flaw in judgment can really mess with the overall network experience. The larger size amplifies any issues. Likewise, large instances are intrinsically bad for the purpose and resilience of the fedi.
It also just so happens we've seen a repeated pattern of dysfunction from several prominent admins (Grad, P, now Moon, etc.) that often results in them picking fights with us and people we like.
If any instance deserves it, it's definitely them, and even then it would be solely their faggot admin's fault, which would be normally solvable through action upon that singular user as I think is best when push comes to shove, except P insists on basically using his entire instance as a botnet on occasion no matter how others there may feel about it.
Not too bothered by it, this Meowski person is clearly unhinged and their instance is single user or close. The SP.C thing is only slightly more bothersome, not necessarily because I personally interacted with many of them, but because some of our other people do, plus the principle of the matter and how it also hurts their user experience.
