I might be reluctant to choose any option due to my disbelief in government, but I'll always try to do some risk mitigation when I vote. We need stability and peace.

If the people we elect can't do our will, than lets do it ourselves (peacefully, hopefully). Vote for the lesser evil, do the greater good!

@GreenFire @InkySchwartz I never said the lesser evil cannot create something good. It's just a bit of a low bar.

The lesser evil in a two party system is yes, Democrats.

We could have published climate change reports back at Nixon. We could have never invaded the Middle East.

But we got human rights, and LGBTQIA+ can exist now. We might be able to eventually kick oil. Maybe.

But I just want less of the lesser evil and more actual good.

The lesser evil is just... Okayish.

@GreenFire @InkySchwartz Well, that was on point. Except the Biden-Bibi relations. He could be harder on Bibi. A lot harder.

Trump would absolutely have every protester gunned down. If not killed, then incarcerated in our industrial prison complex.

But that doesn't change the fact that vesting executive power further destabilizes us down the line. Every single article that helps us now will be used against us later.

If the answer is Yes/No every election, than the status quo will continue.

What socialist says ubi is not socialism? It's pretty darn close to the dictionary definition of modern socialism AFAIK.

@thezerobit very true, i was referencing the mixed-economy psuedosocialism we see in the northern countries (Norway?, fuzzy memory). Owning land ain't a job. Its scalping but for real estate, and that's the reason I'll never be able to live outside my hometown. I guess I'm a little brainwashed by my surroundings into believing any social safety net is socialism. Thanks for reminding me otherwise!
