FreeBSD rocks, but I totally understand why people can get pissed off at it. To be honest though the documentation was dropping me hints today that I should have paid better attention too, also having the ports tree comes in handy for possible needed to compile something that my be borked in the repos.

It's literally GNU coreutils and a Linux kernel under the hood, the internals may be arranged differently, if you have bad repos or updates break things I understand, but otherwise the only real difference is our user interfaces. Stop being edgy and get some work done.

Are you looking for the best quality or something economical?

If you want quality, generally high end Sennheiser and Sony headphones are the best. If you really want to go over top you get IEMs (in ear monitors) and a heavy duty DAC device like a HiBy audio player.

If you want HQ audio, but bang for your buck most Bose or JLab earbuds do just fine.

Its always good to atleast have some form of an emergency survival kit in your car, you may need to flee. Your possessions are replaceable, you are not.
