ふんとですね、TLが静まり返ったように

We can imagine all kinds of aliens in outer space, but instead of air vibrations (voice) like we do, there could be aliens who speak in sign language or flashing lights as fireflies do. Or, most likely, there could be aliens who can communicate by quickly changing their body colors and patterns like squids and octopuses do.

The relationship between global warming and CO2 emissions is similar to that of COVID19 infection and the vaccination. The use of fossil fuel is truly one factor in global warming, but not the determinant. Similarly, vaccination is a major factor in reducing infection and death, but not the only factor, as many other factors add up to determine the infection rates and symptoms.

I saw several tweets fueling agitation and dislike of Chinese people by spouting nonsense about Chinese visitors buying up all the cold medicine in Japan. There are people out there inciting hatred and a sense of crisis, which might instigate many people to rush to the stores to buy them up.

I watched a video of two young Japanese guys crying and rejoicing after Japan won the World Cup game yesterday. Decades ago, there were people who cried with grief when Japan did not win a game to qualify for the World Cup. I wonder if cheering for the team and being either overjoyed or saddened by the result would have a great impact on their later life.
