If we continue to emit CO2, saying that human industrial activity is not the only cause, global warming will continue to accelerate. Similarly, if we had denied and rejected vaccinations because of adverse reactions and unclear effects on an individual level, the COVID death toll would have been several times worse than it is now.

The relationship between global warming and CO2 emissions is similar to that of COVID19 infection and the vaccination. The use of fossil fuel is truly one factor in global warming, but not the determinant. Similarly, vaccination is a major factor in reducing infection and death, but not the only factor, as many other factors add up to determine the infection rates and symptoms.
