A caveat: I was taught that the President title was for life and "former" is improper. The problem is that Trump claims to have won 2020 and addressing him as such leads to confusion. So I think the rules have changed because of his treason.

@jeffowski Possibly right-wing intellectuals leave academia because private enterprise offers more reward. This would result in left bias because the only ones remaining in academia are lefties.

@gwynnion would you rather that they didn't give accommodations such as freezing rents, pausing loan repayments, and extending deadlines DURING COVID? We all knew that the economic squeeze was going to snap back in place.
