The FDA seemed uncertain on Apr 25, a full 13 days AFTER "(raw)" was added to the CDC 's guidance:

"Additional testing is required to determine whether intact pathogen is still present and if it remains infectious"

Ya think??

Now, whether or not it has since been proven, the fact remains, they didn't yet know for sure and then played it down in the guidelines.

I find them all less than trustworthy. YMMV

Unless you have a special body part you're pulling #2 out of, no pun intended, then good luck with that.

Personally, wastewater is the only data I trust as the other two you listed can be cooked/ manipulated.

Deaths don't show severity of a disease. I'm so sick of death being the determiner of how bad #Covid is when so many, sooooooo many people are alive with #LongCovid

Oh no! You're sick ?

A few things you might not know:

✓ They told everyone to vax / boost & that that would be enough & nobody would have to mask. That has since turned out to be incorrect.

✓ Masking with an N95, KN95, or elastomeric respirator will keep you the most protected.

✓ FIT is important. If air can get in around the edges, you're not protected.

✓This means surgical masks will NOT protect you.

I love your toots but I'm going to have to beg to differ on this.

The best way to reduce your risk of getting Long Covid is to not get Covid.

The best way to reduce your risk of not getting Covid is to wear a well-fitted N95+ respirator/mask/elastomeric

That's what needs to be pushed, not vax and don't mask.

I'm going to stop saying "Covid patients" and start saying "Covid victims" because really, anyone who gets covid at this point is a victim of the government and public health officials taking away protections and measuring and feeding us propoganda like "it's over" etc etc etc.
