Stop bashing IA and get on top of things. In a year there will be pay-models. Shell out the cash. There will be free models later you can ramp down spending then. Get your generalized knowledge about AI up high enuf where you can execute many models and have a feeling for what the outputs+capabilities are.
@BlinkRape@slash@beardalaxy@D00B@coolboymew The ones in the 1970s were clear plastic. In the 1980s they moved to that translucent stuff nobody liked. Was hard to break but didn't fit into the plastic scene at the time!
@coolboymew We had a NeXT cube (BSD Unix more or less) we ran headless (with a giant resistor hanging off the back of the monitor port) that had a whopping 4mb of RAM in it. It provided some kind of services to the office network I was kinda amazed that it worked!
imho if I were dictator of California I would figure out how to safely build a supercity based on the parts of Sonoma County that are geogically sound.
Weather is the best here in the world + if we were really green/efficient- we would be building in places that require minimal inputs (power+water).
Worst places+most inappropriate in the US to build big cities: Florida, Texas, Nevada. Eastern seaboard. Illinois. Pennsylvania
@tk The weirdest ethanet stuff I have is a Dayna SCSI to Ethernet converter that plugs into a Mac SE30. I used that on the SE30 I rescued until I found an internal card for it.
@tk@Moon I'm alerting Dav(r)os WEF WEF that they need to tighten down the screws - this is proof the avg man just has too much time on their hands! MUST MAKE LIFE TOUGHER!
