@fuat2mb @Aslanmane According to the texts, Jesus Christ disdained the wealth accumulation in churches and the wealthy's indifference to the suffering of the poor. If you ask a lot of "proudly Christian" people today, that sounds very socialistic!

@Aslanmane so Jesus was opposed to systemic forms of exploitation for wealth, and distrustful of the wealthy and their institutions? I've always felt he's far more pro egalitarianism than modern conservatives and austerity politicians like to think.
