@kemotep nodebb can federate now too. My understanding is that the forum is a group actor and each post is associated with that. Mastodon is the weak link in the chain as it still doesn't really support groups, so some platforms like Lemmy have their groups boost the group's posts (used to be child posts too, not sure if that's still a thing). Image boards are just groups with image posts. Forgejo, Funkwhale, and Postmarks extend AP to even new areas, it'll be interesting how they interconnect
Anyone here actually try any coffee from anything other than standard Arabica or Robusta species, for example Liberica, Charrieriana, or Racemosa, or hybrids like the Hibrido de Timor?
@evan@Flipboard@mallory@tomcoates thanks for taking the time to discuss that critique. I really think your foundation has a great mission, and I'm really excited by its launch.
@Flipboard@evan@mallory@tomcoates neat project, but that website is atrocious. Half of the page content is images and it doesn't even link to their own "deliverables".
@tchambers@cheeaun only downside is it still hasn't got emoji reactions, but boost carousels, grouped notifications, catchup are all next gen features for sure.
@forteller I've had that classic on my bucket list, looks like I'll get to knock out two items at once (librivox being the other). I had no idea they did their chapters in rss so you could play them in a podcast app, neat! Thanks!
@tilvids@collectifission incorporating more mid-level sensors into the single do everything device is cool, so I do find the 360-capture neat, but otherwise yeah totally agree. I'm disappointed #FairPhone 5 won't come out to the US this year, but the FairPhone 4 is still really cool and available in the US today from Murena. The #Librem5 is also really cool, and better on privacy/freedom, but not as good on sustainability. #LineageOS is probably the better answer for all of us looking for new.
Filter #uspol if you don't want USA political content, please call me out if I miss a tag on a non-reply post. See pinned intro below.
