A kidney was transferred 2.8 miles (4.5 km) by drone from the donor hospital to the transplant center in Maryland and successfully transplanted. There are efforts to make that more common for short distances where it's quicker to fly a drone than drive there but requires changes in FAA rules to allow for it in the US

@gemlog I have another idea for his wardrobe and furnishings. It's a khaki shirt with a number on the pocket and khahi pants. The walls are white painted cinder block with a door he can't open from the inside and a narrow window with wires embedded in the glass.

He also has someone in the same get up with a different number on the pocket he blathers his bullshit to until said person decks him

@gemlog I hope the music video was a very misguided attempt from the 1990's or 2000's after listening to some rap music and maybe reading some lyrics, but have absolutely no cultural context as to why they shouldn't personally use the n word in that song. They also say "Notorious Big" when it's actually "Notorious B.I.G." so this was after 1990 but before they got a DVD burner.

I also really hope that the Rick Mercer links were cut like Jaywalking from the Jay Leno Show so they left out anyone who had a brain in their heads

If it's the last one, maybe it's because they were connected to towers that weren't in the area that the alert was for. I've had that happen before.

Also I'm not sure if emergency alerts work with Pinephones
