@evan sorry I shouldn't have been so negative about LI. It's changed a lot over the years. I've mostly been interested in open source projects but those are hard to keep up with now.

@evan it’s sad actually. HN can be interesting in small doses but LI is primarily vacuous boosterism. When I was learning Java and Objective C I confess SO was really helpful. I think most new devs are using Copilot now in the same way: copy and paste without understanding the semantics.

I'm not catholic and never have been but I was Carnival radicalized living in Switzerland, and since then I've learned that football hooliganism is a British Shrove Tuesday tradition, but I forgot to make pancakes today. So it won't be football, fry ups or colourful masks with feather boas
