Oh, that's because you think they care.

My goto answer is "good and you?" it serves the dble purpose of not being rude while throwing back the ball, waiting for the real discussion to start.
@clacke
I see your post is focused on the heavy rains of the past weeks.
I'd like to add on the topic of setting up new alerts: it seems hk is struggling with the heat warnings for outside workers:

Passed by the "recycling booth" shutting down at 5pm the other day. I guess thry close before everybody finishes work so they dont collect too much.

i'm not sure, but i guess the political game now is between dab and extreme pro china figures. Elliptically fixed around an axis
@clacke
Any non dab party has been jailed or exiled. There is one guy in the parliament who is "moderate" dab. Everyone else is in jail or exiled. Some opposition sometimes arise from some syndicate, but i dont think qi baba would let this developp.
Take a look at the last official protest in hongkong: 10 persons with a sign about housing prices. If above 10 (or is it 20 ?) person, you must ask the police first for authorization. Some "protests" had more popo than protesters.

For me, grafana helps to merge various datasources under one single dashboard. From what i've seen in the wild, in kibana you can only query elasticSearch. With grafana, it's easier to mix data sources. I found also that setting up a dashboard in grafana is somehow easoer than in kibana. I prefer grafana because you can aggregate mysql, elasticsearch and whatnot
