Has anyone had to do an international English language test for visas or international travel in any way?

What was it like? What were your circumstances?
If any, which accommodations did you need, and did this delay the date on which you could take your test?

When I was in England, I had a part of an afternoon to myself, just me, my keyboard and a microphone. I did the following with said afternoon.

Today's #AudioMo comes from October 2023. I was having a tough time. Everything felt like it was gradually going to hell in a handbasket. And then this happened.

This recording was taken at 04:30 one morning, when sleep was illusive and sadness waged war inside me. I heard the birds. And they were stunning. And I recorded them to remind myself that - even in the darkest times - there is beauty, and light, and comfort to be found, if you look hard enough.

**SOLVED**

I had to do it from my phone and not while using wifi. When I got an email, I could click the link from my computer and set up the cookie that way. This was needlessly complex and I am supremely irritated.

If anyone has managed to get an accessibility cookie from h-captcha (hell-captcha), how?

I am trying desperately to get one, and I cannot seem to get past the ability to enter my email. It keeps giving me an error every time I go to submit. Please, please help.

The world has turned into avoiding scams and trying to make shit work all the damn time. I just want something to go right. Somewhere where I'm not worrying about accessability or being taken advantage of, or having to do my due diligence about every god damn job I apply for. I'm so discouraged. I really don't want to do any of this anymore.

They say that being taken for a ride and being refused over and over gets easier. It doesn't. You just get numb to it after a while and you wonder what the damn point is.

I realize this is a far cry from my usual posts, but I'm desperately trying to find work, as I know are so many others.
I don't have a wide range of interests, but anything that will make my CV more interesting is a plus, so I'm on the hunt for a potential list of free and accredited online courses.
If anyone knows where I can find something like this, please please let me know. I'll do anything to fill my time if it feels within reach of my current skillset, and hopefully that skillset can slowly expand as a result.

Hi, all.

I'm very conscious that most of the people I follow are no longer minors, but there's a blind girl I know of who is desperate for human contact.

I've come here to ask if anyone knows of online communities for blind teenagers, or discussion groups, etc. Social media was so important in my social life when I was a teenager, and I want to be able to give her a little hope.

We don't have as many sports, events or organizations, especially for younger people. Please help or advise if you can.

If so, can you speak to the accessibility of these platforms? What should I be aware of, what is and isn't possible?

Okay, all #blind #StardewValley players, I need your help.

With the new update, I am really struggling to do basically anything. I can't interact with the Tv, can't see slots in my chest in my house, I am incredibly confused. Please help. What mods am I missing?

More than that, what mods do you find useful and recommend having? My mod list is below, along with which mods I've updated for those wondering what I currently have and know what needs fixing:

Autotravel (I can almost certainly tell you I think this needs an update, but i'm unsure.)

I've always been against learning French, but this year, something clicked. Now, I'm 100 days in and a relative amount of words smarter. It doesn't hurt to have another language in your arsenal.

@inthehands @amphianna I had this experience when I was looking for funding for uni as a humanities major. Originally I was thinking of going into psychology, but as time went on and things changed, I realized that I couldn't anymore.

Now, As a language student, I know that I have to rely on disability-specific funding to get me through all of this.

I can't tell you how many nights I've spent crying because I'm scared of going into the workforce because I've been conditioned to think I don't have marketable skills. It's like, if I'm not interested in tech or studying in a STEM field, the world simply isn't going to let me succeed. This is a societal thing. This is because we are raised to have the impression that STEM is all that's really useful. Just because I was smart enough did not mean I was interested. I'm still not. But there is a part of me that still mentally tortures myself with thoughts of what could have been.
