Six pennies is half a shilling, so if one person earns 6 pennies in a week, and another person earns 2 shillings in a day, they're earning the poorer persons weekly wage in half single day.

And for further context, in the period I studied most closely (late 1500s London) a day labourer would earn about 6 pennies, so 2 shillings in an afternoon (an average rate for a craftsman who didn't own his own business) was about the going rate.

Hello mate - so, there were 12 pennies in a shilling, and 20 shillings in a pound.

Half pennies were a common smaller denomination for buying every day things but there were even smaller coins, but I haven't really studied them because I looked mostly at monthly and weekly wages.

To complicate it, there were also other coins in circulation with their own values like Angels, Pistols and Guineas, but again, I'm not 100% up in their values.

I get you. It's not too far from what I'm doing, lol. I think it's got big risks in terms of churning out other people's stuff without attribution (since they aren't able to be very transparent about where they got their training data), or being a massive vector for cyberattack (since it's essentially a computer with connected keyboard and mouse, that is attached to our network.)

My sympathies on the blockchain question!

Another thing I *have* found in the mobo manual is that my RAM hasn't been tested for this motherboard, and while 99.999% of the time it doesn't matter, I'm getting a *lot* of RAM related errors.

@aaribaud I work with so many people in their 20s and they're like, "what happened to your back/arm/shoulder?" and the answer is nothing, I just woke up like this...

@aaribaud I work in training and programming (in the sense of events programming) for a Heritage Tourism charity, but I have worked with cybersecurity as an editor, so I know the territory, lol!

It's very similar - if I've done all the training and logistical work, people are annoyed I'm taking away their staff to go and train instead of 'working.'

If things go wrong, then it's "How did you not train enough people for this!"

I tried really hard on Tumblr too, but I couldn't get anywhere. At the time I thought I was just too old to get on with the average age user on the platform.
