Impossible to watch all these Republicans genuflect for Trump and not see massive corruption. If this were a movie, we’d be glued to our seats waiting for the Putin bagman to be exposed. Why isn’t Congress asking FBI to investigate. Moreover, why aren’t we the people SCREAMING for that?
@WarnerCrocker @Sumocat Sounds about right.
Csn someone please help me understand what these shareholders are thinking? I don't get it.
The Washington Post: Opinion | Tesla's shareholders approved $50 billion for Musk, picking hype over reality.

> Tesla shareholders approved $50 billion for the CEO and wasted a final shot at dominating the EV market.
Judging from comments I’ve heard from some young folks, Taylor Lorenz’s piece on Gen-Z anger at Biden has given them some kind of validation for their many grievances, many of them indulgent given our perilous flirtation with fascism. That wasn’t her intent, but that seems to be the outcome.
To paraphrase George Bernard Shaw about indexes, “social media is the great leveler.” It’s made everyone an expert on everything (in their own minds), and almost nothing has been the same since.

Good morning. At least until you see those repulsive videos of the entire Republican party leadership lining up to kiss the ring of the most unqualified person to ever hold or seek public office. I couldn’t watch more than 60 seconds without feeling physically ill. I shut it off, violently.
What amazes me is how the Twitter diaspora that scattered journalists and audiences across multiple platforms, hasn’t made it clear to everyone why an Open Social network should be everyone’s priority. Humanity needs it to be free of corporate and psychopathic platform owners.
Charlie fucking Cook would have written the same thing about the 1933 election that brought Hitler to power.

Ya’ll don’t have to worry about Florida anymore. It’s so far under water, all the political turds will soon be floating on the surface and you can scoop them all up at once and dispose of them in a sanitary manner.
Does the Chevron ruling come down this week, too? They are going to bury it beneath all the outrage about Mifepristone and the immunity ruling. It’s bigger than every other ruling thus far, including Dobbs. If they rule as expected, we will never recover. The administrative state will be overruled by their judges. Precisely what they were put there for in the first place. All the morality stuff was a always smokescreen. This has been the conservative holy grail for over 50 years.
Hitler was sentenced to 5 years in prison. But he only served 9 months due to a sympathetic judiciary and massive public outcry from his political supporters. If that sounds uncomfortably familiar, it should.
Is that supposed to be a bad thing?

💯 And if we build tools ALL journalists and information specialists need and should use, those who don’t show up to use them will come to look increasingly irrelevant. Stay the course, folks. We know what the alternative to Open Social looks like.

I’m not leaving Twitter. There’s no point to that without some large and formidable push to dump it. That won’t happen now. But I spend minimal time there, preferring the conversation on OS (Open Social). It lets me continue to remind people there that there is a richer and healthier social experience to be discovered.
We are at war. We’ve been at war. And we’re losing.

Ugh, I’m counting the seconds until the Trump campaign and Fox News learns that May 30th was also the day that Joan of Arc was executed. Wait for it.
Can’t say I don’t try. I wish more hadn’t given up trying to tell this story. It’s not too late. Our social media crisis isn’t going away.
“SNAPPED” The Biden-Harris ad that Robert De Niro made, and which is WHY he was in NYC at the Trump trial in the first place. YouTube, Google and most searches have buried it.
Please watch and pass it on.
Some Nazi wannabe on FoxNews said the “babes love him.”
Sure. What woman outside of Paulding County, GA, could possibly resist that churnin’ urn of burnin’ chunk…er… funk?
