With #nostr slowly joining the #fediverse, it seems people can get the best of both worlds. People can join #mastodon if that's their thing, and they can join #nostr if they prefer that. Here's to the open web.

@BeAware It's such a better term too. A portmanteau of federated and universe. "Open social web" means nothing to me.

@BeAware It needs more schisms. Also gab and truth social should be floating off somewhere on their own.

For example, I have an account on aipub.social (an AI-art dedicated instance), but is de-federated from a lot of places.
