iPod Mini was my first iPod. I had a pink one! That came out in 2004. I started using Gentoo in like 2005/6ish I think and I was dual booting with Windows at that time. Then I had an intel iMac that I dual booted on probably around 2008ish? And I later had a MacBook Air that I dual booted on. I got the Yoga 900 in 2016 and I think that’s when I officially stopped dual booting and I had the MacBook Air just kind of in the corner for when I wanted GarageBand

I use Apple Music. I’ve basically had my music library since iTunes and iPod so switching would be really hard since I have some old demos from local bands backed up in my Apple Music that I can’t get anywhere else

Sometimes people act in a bigoted way as a defense mechanism. It’s really unfortunate and sad. The only thing we can do is work to create a more accepting environment and to condemn bigotry. Confronting a closeted person can force them deeper into the closet, especially if there’s some self loathing here. People can only get better if they want to

I do technically but nothing serious. I put a couple hundred into some meme stocks during peak COVID and then shifted that into dividend stocks. It’s an extremely small portfolio with no significant impact on my life.

My real investment is my 401K which has a 20% return so far. I wish I would have set one up sooner

I have 5% interest from One which probably has the most immediate significant impact

And I pass as many transactions as possible through my Apple Card for cash back

I use AirPods Pro the vast majority of the time, when I go on walks etc. at my desk I have a pair of Sennheiser over ear headphones

Your girl has been poor for a long time and learned to do more with less. I budget very carefully and save constantly. I’ve lived in the same studio apartment for 10 years and have low rent. I drive a 14 year old car with no payment. I don’t have student loans. I look for deals and discounts and promo codes. I keep my AC usage to a minimum so utility bills stay low. Envelope budgeting is the real super power though. Can’t recommend enough

I got Thousand Year Door recently and I’m almost done with that. I need to beat the last boss in Final Fantasy X still so I can play the sequel. Otherwise I don’t have other consoles and I mostly play Genshin Impact on my phone. I pair my joycons to the phone and then screen share to my tv haha

Yes I shave them. I have to shave or wax or epilate just about everywhere or I’ll look like a fucking monkey. I think this winter I want to do more laser so I have fewer things to shave. It’s a constant war on body hair 😅

My Instagram isn’t under my dead name lol but yeah I drive a 2010 Honda Civic. Still under 200,000 miles. With a sunroof and USB aux, I couldn’t ask for more. I’ve had trees fall on it twice! It’s been a good little car

Because to me it’s worth the trade off to get work on my art full time and be self directed and have a lot of flexibility with my hours especially when scheduling Dr appointments etc. Money isn’t everything :)

Im not a serious stock market investor. If I was seriously investing I would max out my 401k contributions before buying stocks haha so it wasn’t something I put more thought into than like a gacha game

The biggest things I care about from my bank are that the app doesn’t suck and it has envelope budgeting and then the interest rate. Pretty much all of the big banks have terrible apps. I think when I signed up for One they allowed unlimited envelopes and Ally was only like 5 or something so it wasn’t viable for me

The other two things I’ve done professionally are design and work in commercial kitchens so it’d probably be one of those

I feel like this question is way over asked and kind of boring, but my hopefully less boring answer is that I wouldn’t realistically use either. I almost exclusively use my desktop for software development, so if I wasn’t doing that I probably would use my iPad as my main “big” computer

We do have a light rail system in Sacramento but it primarily functions to move folks between the city and the suburbs. I do wish we had better intracity public transit. In particular if we had a streetcar from midtown to downtown that would be of great benefit to me
