Has anyone who does not drink ever gone to a meet up? I have no moral objection to alcohol, I just decided to stop drinking 5 years ago and felt better without it.

But honestly, these events seem to be primarily drinking events. That's cool with me if that's your thing, but drinking based events are things I generally avoid because drunk people are kind of annoying when you aren't drinking.

Has anyone who doesn't drink gone and how was it?

@VegasKing the reason I ask is that it is no small thing for me to go. There is a regular meet up about 3.5 hours from here and I think there have been a couple within 2-3 hours. I wasn't concerned about pressure at all, just that I often don't enjoy being around drunk people.

You want the world to be better? Cordial diplomatic relations and productive economic relationships between USA and Russia are a better path.

@jeffcliff @HigherGround they claim that was the story behind the pope thing on SNL. I was right in the middle of her target demographic at the time. Nobody gave a shit except a bunch of old people clutching their pearls. There was no real courage there. She was just a sad broken person who it looks like finally succeeded at suicide after many tries. Its a sad story, but not one if a brave warrior for justice
