Ah, that classic thing where I help someone on reddit and suddenly my inbox is full of nine thousand questions asking me how to do their homework.

The worst part of this is that I may have actually sorted the problem which is really just encouraging this shit.

Today in Procurement has been the day of 'sure, we had weeks to see if we had X part, but we're only just doing it now, and we want to ship the machine on Monday and, by the way, it's a five week lead time part...'

Something I'm becoming intensely aware of lately is the difference between answering a question and simply saying 'your scenario is irrelevant' and not answering the question.

That's a gulf of difference.
