Ok, I am seeing someone who says they're top 10% and made $1025 for January.

Single datapoint, but better than no datapoint.

I mean, it also seems like each time I look into this, the most vocal folks are the ones who've been going for 3 months.

Reading a thread talking about how the 'top 10% of OnlyFans' can't support themselves from the site's income alone.

I kinda need to see what the income for the top 10% is like, because 4.5 million creators on OF means the top 10% is 450 thousand people.

Not really surprising that the whole thing has a *gestures with hands in a triangle shape* pyramid-esque distribution of funds, though.

Twitch is the same.

I even tried to do the 2mm x 2mm stickers for the chest. They didn't come off the sheet because the sticker sheet is usually the second worst part about cheap kits, but I *did* try.

A few months ago, I'd have just gone 'NOPE'.

I can't control whether those stickers are good or not, but I can at least *try* to get them on there.

It's very easy (especially in Australia) to get into the 'yeah, that's good enough' mindset about stuff - and for a lot of things, that's fine and just and right - but it can get into your brain for everything.

Sometimes, it's nice and just and right to do something as well as you can, even if the materials you start with aren't the best.

Buying (and doing) cheap #Aliexpress #gunpla has taught me a number of things.

One of which is, there's probably a maximum 'best' you can get out of something, given its starting point. If you get a kit where ALL the green parts are 2% bigger than they should be, it's just gonna look wrong, no matter what you do (even if you sit and patiently sand stuff down, it's just not gonna get there).

But, it's worth spending the time to do the best job you can do, for your own sake, if nothing else.
