Writing on Twitter, Fetterman pushed back at Democrats who are anonymously sniping at Biden and he used his own experience with a poor debate performance back in 2022 to emphasize that such moments do not doom campaigns.
"I refuse to join the Democratic vultures on Biden’s shoulder after the debate," he wrote. "No one knows more than me that a rough debate is not the sum total of the person and their record.
He then urged his fellow Democrats to buck up and bluntly said, "Chill the f--k out."
Fetterman in the fall of 2022 was recovering from a stroke that he had suffered earlier in the year and at the time he had difficulty aurally processing questions, which led him to at times miss words while speaking haltingly during a debate with rival Mehmet Oz.
@GottaLaff This is a very useful point. Trump is playing a different game from Biden. If he restrains himself, he reassures mainstream voters. If he lets the mask drop, he energizes his base. Either way, he wins.
@GottaLaff I'm sorry but the best thing about Biden is that he is not Trump. I'm not American, so not my circus, not my monkeys but there is a retirement age for a reason. I still hope Biden wins the election (cause Trump is very capable of fucking up the rest of the world along with America) but I'm not gonna act like this dabate is not a shitshow.
Per Rawstory; "Judge Cannon's latest handiwork -- the hearing on 'particularity' — is particularly ill-founded legally," said former federal prosecutor Andrew Weissmann.
"And on crime-fraud, it is not clear to me why this issue is not precluded ('issue preclusion,' just like what happened in the second E Jean Carroll trial) by the fully litigated issue having been decided by the D.C. court after Trump was heard."
Cannon's 11-page order set a hearing to determine whether specific evidence from former Trump attorney Evan Corcoran should be excluded due to attorney-client privilege, despite the crime fraud exception which states the privilege doesn't apply if the conversations relate to ongoing or future crimes.
In D.C, Judge Beryl Howell has already ruled that Corcoran needed to testify because of the exception.
per Rawstory; Far-right websites like Breitbart, Daily Wire, The Blaze, National Review, Daily Caller and the Federalist all saw sharp drops in unique visitors between the 2020 election cycle and the 2024 cycle.
Breitbart — which was led by Steve Bannon before he joined former President Donald Trump's campaign and administration — saw its unique visitors drop from more than 5 million in 2020 to just over 500,000 last month – a 90% drop. The Federalist, which was co-founded by Meghan McCain's husband, Ben Domenech, saw its unique user count plummet from 3.3 million to 166,000, which is a 95% decline.
