Can confirm. While in Portland I've been using a full spectrum "happy light" nearly every day.

Humans have thousands of languages; I wonder if other species do too? Ones that communicate verbally, like birds. Could a starling in Indonesia and a starling in France understand each other?

It's that time of year again: when people everywhere tell you how you *should* be feeling and ignore how you're *really* feeling. Do those around you a favor: dial back the performative joy and make space for those who don't feel like fiddling while the world burns down around them.

Found my parents-in-law an independent living retirement home this week.
