@Ea5iyl I strongly agree with this. I am quite sad about the fact that vara has taken over email over hf scene since I have left. I understand the practicality but software freedom is what brought us many new exciting modes on radio. Soundcard modes were to save us from expensive and secretive hardware modems not to join them.

@dbrgn @emilygorcenski It is an evaluation board from Sparkfun with Ublox Zed-f9p onboard. I made some additions of hc-06 serial bluetooth and lipo power management. Using it with ublox patch antenna. Mostly connected to panasonic toughbook gfz-g1 with #qgis. Sadly my favorite editing software Merkaartor doesn't parse high precision #nmea settings. So I record, export geojson and import it to ID to retrace. Inefficient but works for now...

With the power of 500$ worth of equipment an insignificant park has now proper details and correct placement. It is amazing that we can get down to 30cm accuracy #gnss location without external assistance such as #rtk another win for #openstreetmap
