As a fan of the DOOM franchise, one of the saddest things I've heard lately is,
“Moving forward, due to Microsoft purchasing Bethesda, it's likely that all upcoming DOOM games will be Xbox exclusives."

@BalooUriza Ironic right? Still, as a fan of DOOM, knowing that my choices to play their games moving forward are likely going to be “Don’t, or get an Xbox" isn't fun.
@thomasfuchs @ivory It kinda' can't. Because 33X3 is only 99%. I don't think that's on Ivory.
It hurts because it's true. LOL!
@finny And donations, so don't forget to tip your server admins now and again. :)
Well, here we go again. Apparently there's another one hitting AMD processors as well, but Intel between Gen 6 and 11 are going to lose up to 65% of their capability in things like Gaming and video processing. with patches to combat the "Downfall" vulnerability.
@kainoa @Catwoman69y2k I beat you to finding the websites, but I'll check for the instances. :) I appreciate the info.
@Catwoman69y2k I wish there was more info about this stuff, most of what's on the fediverse I've never even heard of (like everything you just mentioned.) I didn't even know the Fediverse was more than just Mastodon till about a year ago.
@Catwoman69y2k *nods* And that looks like it's 100% aimed at Mastodon. I was under the impression that the "fediverse" was a much more diverse set of apps and protocols and not just 100% Mastodon.
I'm still learning how all this stuff works, but I thought the Fediverse encompassed a number of services with the uniting element being that they were decentralized and free to use.
@Catwoman69y2k I must have missed it. It doesn't stand out all that much if there are.
@Catwoman69y2k Well at least I'm learning some of the other stuff that's out there, I've never head of Calckey either. I'll have to look into what that is.
@kainoa Ah, I did not know this. I just only stumbled onto it an hour or so ago. Alslo have never heard of /kbin. I'll have to look into it.
Well, this is interesting, apparently someone made a Fediverse alternative to Reddit called Lemmy, it even has a furry server, but almost no one is using it yet.
I guess it just never took off.
Said furry Lemmy instance. It's a ghost town, but it's interesting that it exists at all.
