I was watching Star Trek, TNG, and saw "The Big Goodbye" (S1E12).

I always enjoy the holodeck episodes. This was a fun one with Picard's trip back to 1941.

However, I am curious who this actor is? She isn't listed in the credits and is not on the IMDB page.

It also makes me think about how many extras there are in Star Trek.

I keep having intrusive thoughts that someone is going to set up an AI arbitration forum and the Supreme Court is going to allow it to be used if the parties agree to it.

Everyone will end up agreeing to it because the terms and conditions for everything are hidden in click-throughs.

I predict Trump is going to lose the contemplative Catholic vote. The diocese where I am is holding migrant masses for immigrants. The Prayers of the Faithful include a statement of the need to treat immigrants fairly. Priests are accompanying individuals to immigration courts for hearings to keep them from being snatched by masked men.

I drank coffee here several mornings when I rode with someone to the Port of Chicago up the street. Security would only let the driver in, so I waited at the counter, drank coffee, and talked with the wait staff.

I ate a burger for breakfast once because it was a burger place. It was pretty decent. The patty was pre-made -- not a smash burger style.

I think covid caused this place to shut down and never re-open.

I was curious, so I took a look at Google maps to check out the area where the attention-seeking church whose members are acting out is located.

I see there's a bar called The Fat Cat that looks like a fun place and has decent reviews. They have a mural of a lazy yellow striped cat lounging inside.

We need more of these types of places to nourish our souls. Maybe if the angry men got out and socialized with people, they'd feel happier inside.

I watched "We Own This City" about police corruption in Baltimore.

When ICE runs out of migrants to arrest, they will be sent to college campuses to round up peace protestors, professors, and if they need to hit their Steven Miller quota to justify having 90,000 ICE agents wandering around, college kids drinking, people with expired license plates, and anyone who fits their profile.

I used to get sad about the direction of the United States until I thought of our situation as being around with someone who has a serious mental illness and drug addiction.

This is the US right now. High on greed and decompensating on fascism.

The US is in denial there's a problem.

It's leaders are injecting political fentanyl and obvious to the danger.

Congress needs to stop this war.
