I wonder if Obama won Indiana because he visited the state a lot during the 2008 election. It would make sense for Harris to make some quick stops in the state to get people fired up.

Our state's voter turnout is low, so firing up some more voters will make a huge difference in the outcome.

I haven't seen any Cybertrucks around lately. Are they all stuck in the repair shop?

There's a "Tesla gang" in my neighborhood and I haven't seen one there for a while, even when the street is filled with the standard Tesla cars.

Same with the times I've driven by the Superchargers.

Also, there are other types of chargers in the same grocery store lot, so I'm noticing other brands of cars I've not seen before in person.

Remember to persuade non-political people who might be disconnected from the news.

A young relative asked if I would vote for Trump.

I didn't say much except that Trump acts really weird.

Many people in Indiana aren't paying attention to the news and are fed Facebook posts and X memes, see Trump flags, and hear things people around them say.

Gently guide them to see outside of that cultural bubble.

I feel that the world is changing for the better.

I was brainwashed to respect the wealthy in a Calvinistic way, like they were blessed.

As I grew older, I saw how often the rich are affected by their affluenza. Too much is a curse.

Even in small-scale organizations, the wealthy devour each other eventually. (Lawsuits over money and disputes).

If someone is willing to screw over the least paid in their org, they are probably doing the same to their partners.

People are starting to see that the billionaire class is often a curse to themselves and the world.

There is little difference between wealth addiction and substance abuse disorder.

Both sufferers often end up being abusive to everyone in their orbit.

People are getting tired of the abuse.

I foresee the tax codes being revised to make the wealth takers take responsibility and contribute to society instead of stealing time and money from the 99%.

An artist got tired of missing his exit for I-5 on the 101 highway in LA, so he made a directional sign to government standards, snuck up on a highway gantry, and installed it while a nearby CalTrans crew was working.

This done in August 2001. The sign stayed in place for 8 years until CalTrans replaced it with a new one.

In the interest of bipartisanship, we should let the Heritage Foundation's Kevin Roberts, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Ben Shapiro, and Alex Jones fight in a shipping container until they come out and tell the New York Times' editorial board who should be the Democratic Candidate.

I took a look at companies that are connected to the prison industry and was shocked to see how many are involved in areas such as medical care, phone and video calls, commissary, transportation, building prisons, private probation services, etc.

Big money.

If history is a guide, it won't stop at immigrants. It will be women getting abortions, people violating the Comstock Law of 2025, etc.

The law and order crowd will always find a way to lock people up.

It's hard to study in the summer. I had forgotten about that when I last had summer classes so long ago. Only two weeks to go, however!

All the posts about canceling subscriptions that no longer produce happiness inspired me to do some budgetary pruning.

I cut about $80 worth of monthly subscriptions I never use, but just have never gotten around to canceling.

I did keep my Patreon contributions to support great podcasters as well as my subscription to my local newspaper!
