Absolutely true. Even cutting doctors' payments on Medicaid and Medicare takes the axe to those exact places, not to plastic surgeons in Beverly Hills. Kicking millions of people off public insurance means those places have an even more unsustainable burden of uncompensated care. They don't get to stop delivering care; they just don't get paid for it and close. Been going on a long time with smaller shocks to the system than this.

If the GOP does gut healthcare, I assume it means no more small county hospitals in the rural areas of the state.
People will either have to do telehealth or take a trip to Indianapolis, Louisville, Northwest Indiana, South Bend or Fort Wayne when the Local County Hospital closes.
