@dansup I made an account like that to use as a business page - because no way was I linking all my personal stuff to the business - but it did that to me, too. Made account, got blocked, added phone # to unblock, appealed, got blocked permanently. No dice - and I hadn't even managed to log in and read anything, let alone post anything.

I never bothered trying to advertise on Insta because of it, so it's definitely cost them actual money doing this.

i feel a bit sorry for my oldest kid at the moment. She's an incredibly skilled artist (draw-er, paint-er) - at 12, she draws and paints better than nearly every adult I know...

but she's grappling with the reality of whether it's even worth developing her talent, given that GPT art is exploding and her skills will be obsolete in the world she's growing into.

Last time I did that I took the easy way out and bought a rolled hem foot for my sewing machine!

@fuat2mb To be fair, the code I write doesn't usually work first go either, which is why you write a section, test it, fix the errors, test again, then move on to the next bit. It just abbreviates the "write the code" bit, the test/fix cycle is still there (although it can help with that too).

It's marginally better than 'pair programming' and saves me time looking up the functions and constructing the code - but I still have to go through the process of sorting out things like "this code uses sqlite3 but I need to use PHP's PDO libraries instead"

I'm cheating and getting ChatGPT to write code for me on my personal programming project... and it's 100% like having a coworker with zero initiative but mad skills.

SO I have this big programming project that I've been talking about for years.

I need a calendar-aware relational task manager with a basic crm/pim rolled into it.

Someone else could 100% do it better than me (and then i wouldn't understand how it works).

I wonder how much longer i'm gonna keep talking about it without actually managing to get (re-)started ...

Be mindful of where you place your artwork (look at the previews for different items - lots of people don't!) and on which products. Some of their screen-print tees we've gotten have been good (like my hubby's "nailed it" martin luther one) ... but i got a stretchy women's tee, and the print started rubbing off inside a week.

Our family is just rediscovering #Bluey. The dad has no self respect but other than that, it's so funny and so relatable.

If you want to know what parenting is like in Australia? 100% It's like Bluey, just less funny IRL.
