That's actually the thing: if they are the central authority.. What is the federation? Oh cool I can set up my node - and pay for it, so that they don't have to pay for the scale out. Smart move! Let others pay the servers!

I've set fedilab to English on a German phone
The three-dot-menus are English on profile pages
The three-dot-menus are German in the notifications list and in the feed lists.

Should I file a bug report with Screenshots or screen cast on codeberg.org or is this here sufficient information?

@apps hmmm seems like since the update there's an issue with localization.
I have a phone with german settings but put the language on Fedilab on english. On some dialoges the three-dots-context menu on toots is shown in german in some it's in english.

If you aren't aware of it yet I'll try to figure out where I see it in german even though it should be in english.

Question if I'm doing it wrong:
* I have muted some accounts
* I added some timelines of other servers
* I still see the posts of those accounts in those timelines

I thought that I would not see those accounts any more. Or do I have to block them?

Just filed a UI bug for @apps as this behaviour bugged me so often now (see screen record):

When you hit reply, the cursor jumps a couple of milliseconds later to a newline.

If I'd be more into android coding, I'd try to search the bug.. But currently this is the least I can do right now.

With #Youtube going more aggressive against ad-blockers, I try this #peertube thing now as well. Let's see which platform is reaching more happy viewers 😄

Ah okay. Just thought you could add it in a beta stage where you have to say explicitly "yes I'm joining the beta program".
I've had that for a couple of apps in the past (even for my own ones).

One thing I wonder: I think fedilab is the only app where I hit an upload button and I have to choose what type of media I want to upload. In all other apps, this is done transparent for the user. What's the reason for this?
