    Just got an email from work about this Charlie Foxtrot tomorrow around Seattle :pain:
    Saturday 4/5 Multiple Locations:

    1130-1330 @ the Henry Jackson Federal Building 915 2nd Ave in Seattle
    This is a “Stop the Trump/Musk Coup!” protest. We expect about 150 people to attend. This group has been good about staying on sidewalks and not blocking traffic.

    1130-1330 @ the Tesla Dealership 435 Westlake Ave N in Seattle
    This is part of the “Tesla Takeover” protests we’ve been seeing lately. This is near Seattle Center and the group will likely march to join up with the “Hands Off” protest that is occurring at Seattle Center. We expect 100-150 attendees.

    1200-1500 @ Seattle Center
    This Rally & Protest is called “Hands Off!” and is labeled as an Anti-Trump event. We expect approximately 200-300 attendees which may be joined by the Tesla protest group above. This group will likely march to Cal Anderson Park or walk to Westlake Station and ride the light rail to Capitol Hill Station to attend the Cal Anderson Park event once finished. We don’t expect any impacts to transit outside of any march routes they take potentially taking up some of the roadway.



    1200-1500 @ Angle Lake Park and then march to the Federal Detention Center in SeaTac
    This Rally and March event is to “Melt ICE, Fund Public Schools, Support Immigrant and Trans Students, and Defend Public Workers and Services”. They will meet at Angle Lake Park at noon and then march to the Federal Detention Center at 2425 S. 200th St. This one is hard to estimate, but we are expecting 150-300 attendees. The group may march in the roadway if they can’t fit on the sidewalk. We expect many participants to park at the Angle Lake Station parking garage or take the light rail to Angle Lake Station and walk from there. Others may ride the “A Line” to come from the south.

    1300-1430 @ Aurora Ave N and N 205th St in Shoreline
    Shoreline Indivisible is having an anti-Trump/anti-Musk protest on the corner of Aurora Ave N and N 205th St. We expect only about 30 people to attend, and they should stay on the sidewalks waving signs at passing vehicles. We don’t expect any issues.

    1200-2000 @ Cal Anderson Park in Seattle
    This is the main organizing group which is asking for all the other protest attendees to join them at Cal Anderson Park once their individual rally/protests are done. If there is any main event, this is it. This “We the People March & Rally” combines all the protest topics above. The event will have a fair-like atmosphere with tables and other resources for those looking to become more involved in the local political/protest scene. They are advertising a march, but there’s no listed route or destination which indicates they will march around the area and return to Cal Anderson Park at some point. We do not expect any major impacts to transit from this event, but if all the other events end up here, we may see up to 1500 people at the park throughout the day.
