I can understand some spoken Mandarin and can hear the difference between Mandarin and Cantonese. But I don't read it yet.

@liztai I usually do take my iron pills a few hours after dinner. Sometimes I remember the vitamin C.

My iron levels have been very low this past month and my husband went and researched non-dairy things that can inhibit iron uptake.

The list includes turmeric, chili, and ginger... major components of half the meals we eat. >.<

@liztai Most of your favorite characters make it out alive and the family is saved by the Power Of Friendship. I loved it.

Finished #BlossomsInAdversity. Loved it. Would have loved 15 more minutes of the ending and watching people react to the big reveals (hi! the random beggar your family took in is now emperor!), but very good all around. Very cathartic.

I need more recs for happy, found family, make-you-smile-and-warm-your-heart type of dramas. I don't mind murder and chaos as long as my people have a happy ending. Recent likes have been #BlossomsInAdversity, #StoryOfKunningPalace, I also liked #JoyOfLife & #MeetYourself.

How... HOW do you miss all the Cdramas? I'm from the USA and I know iQiYi and everything else. Every single website that has Kdramas that I can think of also has Cdramas. How do you miss that? Do they think it's all Kdramas?

I have so many questions.

Trying to convince myself that breakfast will fix my mood even though I'm pretty sure my problem is with late stage capitalism mixed with poor health. This level of rage is sustainable but unhealthy.

@cstross I feel this is unfair. I used a fax machine last month. They're in common use here. Using one does not make me old.
