I just cancelled a pre-order for yet another mechanical keyboard.
I feel I am maturing as a person.
I will reward myself with chocolate.
Every wondered how nerds played computer games before computers? We used pocket calculators.
As I was cleaning this keyboard (top marks if you can guess which 80’s British system it was from) I found the perfect ChatGPT key.
What a colossal ignorant jerk.
Software than can write software has been a dream since.. well.. software was invented. This advert from 1983.

FORTH things lying around the place #FORTH
Storage bench? My dudes, that is a telephone seat. It goes in the hall. Your telephone sits on the table, with the wire draped down and plugged into the wall. Your two phone books go in the opening.
@paulrickards that’s kinda great though. It’s as useful as the real thing but a LOT cheaper and still looks great on a shelf :)
@thomasfuchs I gambled on their early Kickstarter and it worked out great.

@Macstodon it doesn’t actually trace any rays - the reflections aren’t accurate.
Got the floppy disk drive working with the Altair Duino hardware. Look it boots!
So how about instead of making things more convenient, the opposite?
@thomasfuchs I’m sorry but I am emotionally invested in a multinational brand.
