Today FORTH may seem like an obscure programming language, but almost every computer magazine I have from 1983/5 has articles and adverts for #FORTH products. So I would class it the most mainstream niche language.

Storage bench? My dudes, that is a telephone seat. It goes in the hall. Your telephone sits on the table, with the wire draped down and plugged into the wall. Your two phone books go in the opening.

@thomasfuchs I have a scope from Vaonis and after decades of messing with very expensive reflectors and CCDs and SLRs, it’s the best thing I’ve ever bought.

We wasted all that time writing ray-tracing software and building ray-tracing hardware, when generative machine learning could just fake it.

@Macstodon it doesn’t actually trace any rays - the reflections aren’t accurate.

Got the floppy disk drive working with the Altair Duino hardware. Look it boots!

So how about instead of making things more convenient, the opposite?
