After reading Jo Brew essay on football I can't unsee the fact that professional sport is glorification of the male body and sublimation of the male sexuality. Therefore I don't see the goal to make people as interested in female competitions as attainable, nevermind feminist.
That of course doesn't change the fact that women shouldn't compete against men.

Why are you even raising that point in a conversation about learned preferences when knowing what your sex is is not a learned preference but an observation of reality?
Yes people can be successfully conditioned en masse. To deny that is to know nothing about history. Also it's ironic to say that men are biologically defective while relying on their "research" for information instead of feminist authors and historians who have no intetest in defending and whitewashing men.

@RadLola If for you evidence is an existing "scientific" article of some dude with musings about how a behaviour can be explained by wanting to pass on one's genes or how a behavior can be explained by natural population control or some such, it doesn't exist. Read a feminist author that tackles genderism, like Jeffreys or Raymond.

@RadLola Lol. Evolution theory is "whatever lives, lives". That all people are secretly motivated by passing on their genes even if they think they aren't and that free will doesn't exist is not implied by it. "Everyone wants to have a babby" theorists make a whole lot of unproven assumptions themselves and I pointed them out literally every time I replied to you but you keep ignoring that. This school of thought is basically faith dressed in scientific language.

For your statement to be true,
1) It should be true that you can give someone a homosexual orientation through surgeries and rape
2) It should be true that you can make a person forget whether they were born a boy or a girl and be unable to tell male bodies from female ones through surgeries and rape
3) It should be true that learned preferences can be changed through surgeries and rape
Academia serves male interests and is moderated by men and men constantly feign ignorance about the learned nature of their sexuality because to do otherwise would be to expose the entire system of male dominance and how it's artificially constructed and maintained through engineering of consciousness and consent as well as real physical threats to back it up.

@RadLola Ten years of seeking root problems taught me that it's almost never biology but deliberately enforced narratives with concrete goals and how people react to them.
The GC idea of extrapolating the physical nature of sex on everything else and the implicit message that nobody has free will and that we arrived at this point in history through random stumbling makes me despair. It's factually wrong, is against the core messages and ideas of the second wave and is even more depressing than libfem.
