@lookitmychicken Yeah it was definitely worth it. I was close to the beach in Wollongong tho - so maybe it was more dusty there than it would be for you. Also cats .. back then I had 3 who basically spent their days sunbaking out there so it needed a good sweep every couple months.

Can confirm those IKEA slat tile things are a good investment. Had them in the last apartment I lived in as the balcony was yucky 80s pebble-crete stuff .. eww! It made such a difference. The only pain is lifting them occasionally to do a good sweep.
