    @coin we're still in extreme volatility. The market is at a 4 day high, the recovery is dramatic. As with all the historical recovering from other major market dumps. See COVID. Who knows. I'm just betting on the thing that's happened before. Everyone says they'd do it if given a chance, but most do not. I'm not buying today, I already bought. I got more cash ready to go, though.

    @Hoss @Saxophone3784 I believe tuta encrypts your mailbox, I don't understand how that actually works since you login with a username+password. I guess your password is used a private key?

    But yeah, I believe proton and tuta both encrypt your mailbox on disk.

    @Saxophone3784 it's a legitimate idea assuming the mail queue never gets written to disk. Though even with it getting written to disk as cleartext there's some legitimacy to the idea.

    People will tell you it's bad because it's imperfect. But in reality doing this would reduce the time window which emails exist as cleartext to virtually zero and if anyone were to pull your partition from like a hypervisor level they wouldn't be able to grab your existing stuff.

    No one talks about this because it's flawed against many types of attacks, but removing low hanging fruit is valuable.

    At least my bonds are up. Trump strongly hinted at bonds last month. Indicating he was more concerned with the interest rate than the equity market.
