#Codeberg has a rather small team backing it. As registrations on Codeberg have gone way up as of the past week, we could always use help from (both from non-technical and technical volunteers). To see what we have to offer, take a look here: https://codeberg.org/Codeberg/Contributing/wiki

There isn't necessarily a time commitment involved (if at all). Say, if 20 people spent 5-15 minutes to, say, send a pull request to something that annoyed them in our documentation, it would be in a much better state.

@carmenbianca Feel free to bump this issue and mention that it's still a problem if you feel like it. (I wouldn't mind doing it on your behalf either, but need to ask first, I believe. 😅)

@carmenbianca @fsfe We love using REUSE (although Forgejo doesn't support it quite yet) and this makes me (and at least one other person who let me know, so I guess that counts as "us") super excited! :D

The #Codeberg hashtag has many asking about private repositories. Our notifications have _completely_ exploded, and our exposure to feedback from "outside our bubble" have lead to us receiving several signs that we can improve our messaging on, such as this FAQ entry: https://docs.codeberg.org/getting-started/faq/#how-about-private-repositories%3F

@ryanc I didn't take "this project broke GitHub" as literally as I should've before checking it out.

So, I checked the references of the Wikipedia article "link rot", and I decided to click on the first URL to a paper that I saw in the references.

Needless to say, the link did not lead me to a paper:

my approach to working on super ambitious projects is "please do not ask me how that works or whether i can explain how this works..."
