#Forgejo federation can't come fast enough for you? Have you ever wished to help out, but specifications are too scary and you don't know where to start?
@simon@whitequark it's all very chaotic at the moment but i find it all super productive โ i work with an awesome team where we're all pretty much agreeing on the problems, thankfully. :)
@whitequark@simon idk people doing codeberg leadership stuff, I'm a member of the presidium. there was a clear expectation that pages is a thing, and the entire situation has been a bit volatile judging by the e. V.-internal thread ๐
@whitequark@simon my bad, but lol that's a cool project, i was lowkey pretty stressed that we'd have to find ourselves in a position where we'd be expected to dethrone the other people working on yet another codeberg pages solution ๐
Please don't crucify me for linking to this, but this experience definitely aligns with what I've seen go on behind the scenes at Codeberg (as well as dozens upon dozens of other self-hosted software forges) lately.
Life is short and I'm here to have fun and meet new people. I use this account exclusively to share things I think about, things I work on, things I create, things I care about, as well as (very) silly posts.
I may be too young to be a full-time serious person, but definitely too old to segregate different aspects of me. And definitely too disorganized to keep portfolios.
I post frequently in private and my social media presence may not be your cup of tea. You have been warned. โจ
@HauntedOwlbear Hi, sorry, this isn't applicable to this case, it was intended to be a more general parody of open-source software as well as make the joke more surreal by creating a direct contradiction (proprietary + being pro-Stallman).
It wasn't my intend to mislead - I'll edit my post and add a notice if I come across another case of a person getting confused about it.
