Does everyone know that “delete calendar event” means delete for the entire company, not just for your own calendar?

My final act on a client engagement was accidentally deleting a recurring calendar event for everyone in the company, emailing them in the process, instead of quietly and professionally taking myself off of the meeting like I thought I was doing. I’ve literally never been more mortified. Peak social anxiety. In lieu of flowers please send embarrassing stories

This is the most petty thing but shows how much UI matters. I keep trying to switch to firefox but the tab bar makes me really uncomfortable. The current tab is floating instead of attached and it makes me uneasy. And apparently this isn't themeable

A friend of mine is having a building built from scratch by professionals and looking at the walkthrough videos as it goes up, I finally figured why it's so wild how orderly and intentional construction is: I work in software.

Have any of y'all ever seen a house-scale software project that was able to write out a plan and execute on the plan and deliver a functional product without encountering some sort of surprise or course correction during the process of building? I literally never have
