   My final act on a client engagement was accidentally deleting a recurring calendar event for everyone in the company, emailing them in the process, instead of quietly and professionally taking myself off of the meeting like I thought I was doing. I’ve literally never been more mortified. Peak social anxiety. In lieu of flowers please send embarrassing stories

     Does everyone know that “delete calendar event” means delete for the entire company, not just for your own calendar?

     @mattly Software was a mistake. Computers were a mistake. Calendars were a mistake. Coordinating with other humans is a mistake. I'm moving to a hermitage in the woods and discarding all measures of time synchronization
