As a journalist on the Fediverse with a Ghost site and newsletter, I don't need the adoption option, but I'd LOVE IT if more people signed up to my free newsletter.

Being niche and not being a mega Ghost success story like 404 or Molly W (both of whom I think are great) I can't really say that avoiding the big social media channels is a great plan for reach, but I do it anyway because it's what I believe in.

Why do women wear flowers in their hair to work in the hell of a Tamil Nadu garment factory?
Why do unions know to check on a woman who stops wearing flowers?

You don't get to write this kind of piece (or even know it needs writing) without doing the long, hard work of grassroots union solidarity, so thank you Nandita and Nikita for such an insightful article.
